To prove I am working on coloring and not just goofing off and also to show why it's taking so darn long to finish coloring the sketch version of Sorting I present "my dilemma."

The current hat copied and pasted onto this Albus doesn't work even colored because the sketch style is so different (at least, that’s what *I* think the problem is). So, need to draw a new sketchier hat to go with this one. They just don't fit together as is, and my attempts to digitally alter either sketch haven't been successful. This version of the hat will probably be moved to the other image of Albus while the new (sketchier) hat will be pasted into here and colored.

I think I need to rethink how I'm coloring the hat too, or possibly some of the fold lines cause I don't get a sense of weight from the hat hanging in the hand and it seems "flat."

If anyone has any crits, comments, suggestions please feel free to add them. It’s clearly a work in progress, but I would love any helpful hints I can get.
